This website is a forum about psychological issues today. It is sponsored by the Division of Psychoanalysis of the New York State Psychological Association (NYSPA). Psychologists and psychoanalysts who work in private offices around New York State and City created this channel to speak directly to the public and share our expertise.

You'll find here issues of our Internet magazine, PsychMatters (formerly Psych-e-News), links to topics of interest, FAQs, and more.  In the future we will be adding other media and departments, so come back!

We've changed our name! We started out as Psych-e-News, which you will see in reference to Issues 1 through 7. Beginning with Issue 8, we will be called PsychMatters. We like the change. We hope you do, too.
